LeafletsIn the spirit of this vibrant environment, the EAGLE Consortium hosted the International Conference on Digital and Traditional Epigraphy in Context. The conference, held in Rome, was organised by EAGLE with the support of Sapienza Università di Roma, under the auspices of Centro Linceo Beniamino Segre.

Co-funded by the European Commission under its Information and Communication Technologies Policy Support Programme, EAGLE aims to create an e-library for Digital Epigraphy of unprecedented scale and quality for ingestion to Europeana. EAGLE is also aiming at creating a network of experts and people interested in Epigraphy and Cultural Heritage.

This conference was intended to be a forum for anyone willing to share and discuss experiences and current general best practices for digital editions. It was open to researchers, archivists, industry professionals, museum curators and others seeking to create a forum in which individuals and institutions can find a place to collaborate.

CIVIC EPISTEMOLOGIES continue the campain of dissemination also at the end of the funded period has been taken part to the Poster session and the project leaflets have been distributed to the experts by the Promoter’s team.

CIVIC EPISTEMOLOGIES and EAGLE are linked by a Memorandum of Understanding signed in 2015.
